Contrast change in PDF scores

Hi folks

is there any program which directly changes the contrast in B/W PDF files (scores)?
I tried A-PDF To Black and White without success. if the score is already in B/W
it seems to ignore convertion option.

Background: I will print out a lot of scores with harsh contrast and would rather remove the contrast before
printing. My Epson printer option does not have that option.

Any help very much appreciated!!

What do you mean by "contrast" change? Can you post an example? Black and white is only 1-bit color space, meaning the only variable to deal with is the detection/conversion threshold. A higher threshold will convert more pixels to black often producing a "salt and pepper" effect, and a lower threshold will give the effect of a faded appearance.
