(Never mind to what was once here; I misunderstood the purpose of the forum)

Two quick questions about uploading: What country's/ies' copyright laws must IMSLP abide by? Also, if I can find a PD piece on another website, can I upload it here?

The Vieuxtemps is up, isn't it? I think that it's one of the files that still has technical or copyright issues, though.

The Bartok Concerto is from 1945, so it's only PD in Canada. In the meantime, take a look at the Honegger Sonata.
