Re: May Aufderheide
Thats only if the point of origin was published in a USA city, then RoST will usually apply to the EU.

Re: May Aufderheide
Canada is no longer a Life + 50 country across the board, so anyone who died before 1972 (yes by one year) starting last year in 2023 is under copyright until 2043 at the earliest. Canada is now a Life + 70 country for anyone who died after 1971. However any works that were first published before 19...

Re: 2 Vivaldi Concerto's overdue approval / declining?
Hello,
Not sure which files your talking about, if its the Ricordi editions your talking about on both in the Scores tab, those are under copyright because the continuo realizations in the files are under copyright and have to be redacted.

Re: Könemann urtext
Hello, If the edition was published at least 25 years ago (before 1999) we can accept those editions on here. As long as the composer died before 1971 (if the editions you want to add are not just only J.S. Bach). Any editions after 1998 will have to wait until we hit the year it goes eligible (1999...

Re: How can I contribute recordings of the parts?
Hello, Can you give us how your imagining listing this? If its how I am thinking you want to contribute, I don't think that is something we want to take up space as I am not sure if that is something we could support (maybe under the accompaniment tab? But that may be far-fetched), but I need some m...

Re: Peachnote not working?
If you all mean the viewer for viewing a score without downloading it from the workpage, its still working it seems. BTW were getting a new website soon which there is going to be a lot of changes to how things look from the workpage point of view so I believe we still will be able to view a score w...

Re: Chorale preludes based on copyrighted hymns... ok or not?
So there is a trade off depending on what it is, a lot of times if its a modern tune that is popular, it most likely is under copyright everywhere and would love to use it, but now if you have a lot of them you want to use, then the tradeoff is as you said, you have to ask every single copyright hol...

No we have no workpage for that piece yet, perhaps you will need to look elsewhere to find the score, maybe you could add it here.

Re: Using scanned images of scores on IMSLP commercially
Hi Sallen112, Thank you for the clarification! So, it appears that contributors to IMSLP cannot claim ownership of their scanned photographs, even if they could prove that it has their handwriting on the margin or they can show in any other way that its a rare edition that belongs to them (of a wor...

Re: Using scanned images of scores on IMSLP commercially
Hello, I think the reason you do not find an answer about this, is its pretty obvious: Public Domain means its free to be used in anyway shape or form of that content you want to use it in, you do not need any kind of permission from the original copyright owner because the work's copyright has expi...

Re: Modifying commercial recording links on a work page
Edward I got a question from a user one time asking about if any of the naxos recordings that were in there catelogue can be updated or added onto newer workpages (that were made recently for example) since you told me one time a while back that all the pages got their recordings matched with the wo...

Re: Issues on every Music Sheets edited by Gian Francesco Malipiero
That is because all of them have continuo realizations that were done by him and are under copyright everywhere, we accepted them a long time ago by mistake and the realizations (in the right hand of the keyboard part of the score) now have to be completely removed in order for us to accept the file...

Re: Margaret Ruthven Lang Op.52 "Night of the Star" cycle
Ok I have unlocked it, however, your not going to upload that as the first page right? Because the page is cut off and were trying to strive for better quality scans on here (plus the pages need to be flattened as well).
